Googles Answer to the iPhone
The Google Nexus One is Google’s answer to the Apple iPhone. Google seems to be getting involved with almost every industry related to technology available, and they usually take over within a short period of time. But, are they going to overtake the iPhone with the Nexus One?
If you look at the Nexus One, you will see it looks very similar to the iPhone. They are both touch screen based phones, and their screen sizes are almost the exact same size. The Nexus One does boast a little higher resolution though, and its contrast ration is a little different as well.
The Nexus One does not have as much built in storage as the iPhone, but it is expandable up to 32gb using microSD cards. Some people may prefer this removable storage system over the hard drive system that the iPhone uses.
The camera on the Nexus One is 5 megapixels, where the iPhone camera is only 3 megapixels. Does it make that much of a difference? Based on the sample photos we have seen, we think it does.
So, where does the Nexus One fit in into the super competitive multimedia cell phone market? Well, it was designed as a direct competitor to the Apple iPhone, and it shares many of the same features. But, is it a better phone? That is for you to decide. Test both out and wee which one you like better. The truth is, you can’t go wrong with either one!
The King of Mobile Phones
In the world of cell phones, the Apple iPhone is king. In fact, it may be incorrect to even call it a cell phone, as it does so much more. It sends email, it surfs the web, and all the apps currently available for it allow you to perform almost any function you can think of in just a few clicks.
The 3.5 inch screen is more than adequate for doing almost any task thinkable. As you rotate the phone, the orientation changes, so viewing wide documents is not an issue. You type using the touch screen, which is easier than people think. Many people complain that the lack of a physical keypad makes typing quickly on the iPhone difficult, but if you have tried it before, you will know this is not the case.
Talk times range from 5-12 hours (depending on 2g or 3g usage), internet usage tops out at about 9 hours, video will play back for 10 hours, and when listening to audio, the iPhone will last 30 hours on a single charge.
Other features of the iPhone include a 3 megapixel digital camera, and depending on what model you purchase, 16gb or 32gb of storage for movies, music and other media files.
So, should you buy an Apple iPhone? Well, if you are looking for one of the most stylish, technologically advanced phones on the market, nothing beats an iPhone. For all the functionality you receive, you can’t beat the price either. There are no real downsides to the Apple iPhone, and it is highly recommended by everyone!
